About Me
I am an award-winning career writer of 22 book length projects and numerous shorter pieces. My ghostwritten books have earned clients accolades and speaking engagements, with one recent project being called, “a delightful surprise in the world of business literature… with the sharpness of a seasoned strategist and the charm of a natural storyteller.”
I am highly conversant within the leadership, productivity, psychology and behavior, neurodiversity and mental health, science, medicine, business, and technology industries.
On the fiction side, I have five books published by Penguin under the name Alex Hughes. I am a graduate of the prestigious Odyssey Writing Workshop, a Semi-Finalist in the 2011 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards, and a member of the International Thriller Writers. My first novel, Clean, was a Finalist in the Silver Falchion Award 2013, and was optioned by Twentieth Century Fox twice.

Seriously, no topic is too nerdy, nuanced, or academic. Bring it on! I’m interested in everything. I once had a two hour conversation with a conveyer belt salesman on an airplane for fun.
I speak Silicon Valley, and I love science, psychology, medicine, AI, and futurism (former science fiction author and supergeek here!)
